Persian Ice cream Recipe

Ingredients:
· 1/2 cup pistachios, shelled and coarsely chopped
· 5 tablespoon rose water
· 1/4 teaspoon saffron, crushed
· 1 tablespoon water, hot
· 2 liters vanilla ice cream
Instructions:
1. Allow ice cream to soften at room temperature for 15 minutes
2. In the meantime, combine in a small bowl the saffron and hot water and cover
3. When ice cream has softened, place in a large bowl with the saffron mixture
4. Mix in the rose water and pistachios and continue mixing until thoroughly combined
Scrape ice cream back into its original container and freeze until hardened, at least 6 hours.
